Droylsden claimed all three points in the fog at Ossett Town with two goals, one in each half from Steve Hall and a Liam Caddick strike in the last ten minutes.

It was touch and go whether this game would start as the ground was enveloped in fog but the referee decided to start, even though for the first half it was difficult to see much of the action.

Bloods gave a debut to centre half David Artell who partnered Phil Clarke in the centre of the defence with Steve Hall coming back into the midfield after starting on the bench at Colwyn Bay.

And it was Hall who put Droylsden in front on twenty four minutes, cleverly chipping the keeper from inside the area.Three minutes later the home side were level, a header from Tyrone Gay.

One one at half time, the fog cleared during the break. The home side had a great chance to go in front after the resumption, only a great save from Coates denying Anthony Mackie from close range.

With just over half an hour remaining the Bloods regained the lead, a great run down the left from Jamie Frost, his cross finding Steve Hall inside the six yard area to make it 2-1.

Droylsden continued to press, Adam Farrell’s volley from just inside the area hitting the side netting and Luke Daly twice going close.

With two minutes of normal time left The Bloods sealed the win, Luke Daly breaking down the middle and cleverly setting up Liam Caddick for the third
